Individual Therapy
for Adults
In-person in Seattle
and online throughout Washington State
Brenna Leisenring, LMHCA
People come to therapy for all sorts of reasons, and often more than one. Anxiety, depression, trauma, difficult relationships, grief, life transitions, or a sense that something isn't quite right. Sometimes the reasons are clear. Other times, they're harder to put into words.
I take time to understand your experiences, relationships, and the patterns that have developed along the way. I'll listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions, and offer perspective and practical tools when they're helpful.
You don't need to arrive with a clear explanation of what's happening or know exactly what you want to change. We can begin wherever you are.
Working Together
Understanding why we think, feel, and respond the way we do can be an important part of therapy. But insight alone doesn't always translate into change.
Together, we'll explore how your experiences have shaped you, make connections between past and present, and pay attention to what happens in your relationships, including your relationship with yourself.
Sometimes our work will be reflective. Other times, it may involve developing practical skills, trying something different, or finding new ways to respond to familiar challenges.
What we focus on and how we work will depend on what you need.
