About Brenna

What I love most about this work is getting to know people beyond the conclusions they've reached about themselves. Beneath the self-criticism, anxiety, overwhelm, or uncertainty is a whole person with a story worth understanding.

I'm endlessly curious about people and the ways we make sense of our lives. That curiosity is part of what drew me to this work and continues to sustain it. I genuinely enjoy hearing people's stories and understanding what has shaped them into who they are today.

Outside of therapy, I'm a parent, a reader and lover of really good stories of all kinds, and someone who enjoys both meaningful conversations and completely ridiculous ones. I'm naturally curious and enjoy learning, while also believing that life isn't meant to be an endless self-improvement project. I think there's value in being present for the life you're already living.

Like many of my clients, I'm also navigating the realities of being human and the ongoing practice of caring for my own nervous system in a world that can sometimes feel overwhelming.

While our experiences may be different, I never ask clients to do work that I don't deeply believe in myself.

In-person therapy in Seattle and online throughout Washington State.
